As one of Morgan Consulting Resources’ resident experts on health insurance products, Lu is well-versed in overcoming the challenges associated with finding the right employees for a rapidly-expanding organization. Lu grew her experience via the ‘trial by fire’ method – while serving as part of the leadership team for a division of UnitedHealth group that grew from ten to approximately 1,800 employees in just six years.
Before joining Morgan Consulting Resources, Lu held executive-level sales and product positions with OptumHealth Specialty Benefits (a division of UnitedHealth Group) and ING Employee Benefits Global Network. Due to her experience, Lu knows what it takes to thrive in a competitive market—and drive both top- and bottom-line results within a hyper-growth business unit.
In her free time, Lu enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, and cooking. Living in Arizona, she and her husband go to many MLB Spring Training games and spend time sharing their great state of Arizona with family and friends. She is a board member for Free Bikes for Kidz Phoenix – an organization which brings communities together by providing sustainably furnish bikes to kids in need; a native Minnesotan, Lu is also a farmer's daughter who, along with her husband, loves to travel -- from the prairie to the plains, and everywhere in between.
